I consider myself extremely fortunate to live in the picturesque town of Nelson, BC with my wife and daughter.   My wife Tracy grew up in Nelson and we knew that this was the right place for us to plant our roots and raise our little girl Talia.

Located in the heart of the Kootenay’s there is never a shortage of things to do here. Nelson offers year round outdoor activities.  Some of our family's favorite things to do in the summer are to attend the Kaslo Jazz Festival or head out camping for the weekend.  The summers here are hot but the beaches are always close by. We like heading down to the water for picnic dinners and a swim. 

In the winter we enjoy skating on the outdoor rink at Lion’s Park, down hill skiing at Whitewater or cross country skiing on one of the many trails in the area.  After it is always a treat to head downtown for a coffee. 
Although the population of Nelson is only 10,000 it serves as an arts hub for the surrounding area.  We enjoy exceptional visual and performing arts throughout the year.
